😔Adrenal Burnout in Women🤒

Our Vital Life Force is Depleting

My sweet angels, 😇✨

In yesterday's letter, I talked about opening our hearts 💖 to allow the feminine in us to arise and live the full experience of her being. 🌸🌿

To reiterate, a female’s heart is the key 🔑 to her feminine experiences.

A heart is like a magnet 🧲, so the more it’s open, the magnetic field becomes larger. The vibration increases, and you feel more alive. 🌟

But if the closed heart is not the problem, and you feel like you are leaking energy, and living not to your fullest potential, then it can be a Yin problem. 🌌🌀

According to Merriam-Webster, the feminine passive principle in nature, in Chinese cosmology is represented as dark, cold, or wet. ❄️💧 When our Yin energy is imbalanced, we can have similar symptoms to that of a closed heart, like being unexplainably sick 🤒, and feeling low. 😔

This is a classic case of Adrenal fatigue or burnout, very common in women. Women are so overwhelmed and overscheduled 📅, that it entirely depletes them of the pranic energy, the vital life force. 🌱 And then they make little to no effort to raise that vibration again.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Yin energy is derived from Jing, which translates to ‘vital life essence’ that is inherited from our parents, our genetic blueprint. It lives in our kidneys, and it has authority over our development and reproduction. 🧬 In TCM, it is said that adrenal burnout, or loss of ‘Jing’, ultimately causes Yin deficiency.

Some signs of Yin deficiency are brain fog 🌫️, extreme stress at all times 😵, poor concentration, joint pains, craving for salty and sweet 🍬, unexplained aches, feeling tired through the day 💤, addiction to coffee ☕, loss of zest for life, self-confidence, low libido, and so on.

Body dysfunction from long-term stress dysregulates the stress hormone Cortisol, creating this Yin deficiency. Cortisol is responsible for the fight or flight response in the body. ⚔️🏃‍♀️

To heal, one has to get out of this fight-or-flight survival mode. Nutrition is the best way to return to default settings. Some Do’s and Don’ts to get that enthusiasm for life back and increase your vibration: 💫

- Do NOT get into a calorie deficit and stress your body. Eating enough calories for your needs will restore your organ health and, thereby your Yin. 🍽️

- Don’t eliminate carbs. Low-carb diets also increase cortisol and put more stress on the body. 🍞🥔

- Avoid inflammatory foods like pasteurized dairy 🥛, gluten 🌾, white sugar 🍬, and soy 🌱.

- Eat all three meals of the day, and have small snacks throughout. 🍽️🥗

- A breakfast with at least 30 grams of protein is an excellent way to kickstart the day. 🍳

- Eating maximum calories in the first part of the day will help in increasing energy. 🌞

- Avoid raw foods because they increase dampness (or Yin) in the body and put undue pressure on digestion. 🥗🚫

You will notice a huge difference in your magnetism once the Jing, (and thereby Yin) is balanced. It’s easy to give into the narrative of “these are the days to eat and enjoy” 🍰🍕, but this is a Buy Now Pay Later scheme.

For a quality life, we should never settle for poor energetic health. 💪🌟

Love,

Zitni Zun ❤️
