From Beef Tallow, Why Did McDonald's Switch to Vegetable Oil?

The Secret Behind the Sizzle: McDonald's Big Fat Switch

Issue: Finding Meaning in a Hazy World

Modern times have failed the values that once shaped society - family, religion, clean living conditions, national pride—seem to crumble under consumerism, environmental degradation, and purposeless routines. Why are we (including myself) excited to build exciting goals and life?

What Is the Real Dis-ease?🤔

The sickness of our age isn’t as simple as pollution or covert or overt wars. It is mainly the collective loss of purpose. We are bombarded by negativity, from violent news headlines to aimless technological escapism or gossip on the entertainment industry’s who’s who. While home appliances, 9-to-5 jobs, and modern amenities make life easier, they leave us unfulfilled without a deeper connection to life’s essence.

At its core, the real dis-ease is spiritual ignorance—a lack of understanding about who we are and why we are here. Without this clarity, falling into a miasma of despair is easy.

Escapism and the Slow Decline🌀

Escapism has become a coping mechanism for the modern world’s sickness. From scrolling endlessly on social media to chasing fleeting dopamine hits through food, substances, or entertainment, these habits don’t transform the muck of life—they merely pause it.

What’s dangerous is the subtlety of this decline. Unlike hard addictions like meth, these small habits keep us in a glazed state for years, even decades, stealing our vitality without the alarm bells of visible damage.

The solution? Recreating the muck into something worthwhile. Transformation begins with acknowledging our unhealthy patterns and consciously stepping into a life of purpose and discipline.

The Dis-orders of the Modern Age

Today’s culture fosters destructive ideologies that further disconnect us from our natural state. Older generations too justify not committing to a better future saying that today’s generation isn’t worth the sacrifices. Here are the “illnesses” that require our attention:

  1. Veganism and Nutritional Myths🌱
Many dietary movements, like veganism, are rooted in outdated ideas that demonize natural desires and instincts (e.g., labeling sexual desire as sinful).

The result? Nutritional deficiencies that erode vitality and even libido. Plant-based diets are rich in antinutrients (phytates, oxalates, tannins, lectins, estradiol, saponins) and can block the absorption of key minerals like zinc, essential for hormone production.

Veganism isn’t one size fits all and people are better off eating a range of foods than crying about morality and humanity. The increase in vegans is already putting the planet under pressure due to the exploitation of plants and is giving the pharma industry another reason to “rescue” our depleting health.

  1. Allopathic Medicine and Surface-Level Healing💊

Modern medicine often masks symptoms instead of addressing root causes. Once the symptoms are gone, apparently you are healed.

But true health comes from living in harmony with natural rhythms—eating nutrient-dense foods, maintaining a healthy environment, and cultivating mental and spiritual balance.

  1. Racial/Caste Guilt and Victimhood⚖️

A fixation on race-related guilt or privilege distracts from personal growth. We lose time victimizing ourselves through our backgrounds, or bringing others down for theirs - finding justifications all along.

Rather than getting caught up in societal constructs, we must focus on uplifting ourselves through ancestral knowledge, spirituality, and intentional living. Our background doesn’t define us; today’s world is built on equal opportunities.

  1. Gender Confusion⚧
While I respect individual identities, it’s silly to entertain confusion surrounding gender. The idea of fluid gender and transsexualism has created unnecessary chaos; the narrative to expose children to these ideas is vile.

A life rooted in spirituality and self-awareness—helps individuals align with their truest essence, whether masculine or feminine.

You can only conquer these dis-orders if you take off your mask, hold up a mirror, and find who you want to be. Our mums were right - the phone is the enemy. Stop giving in to these mental illnesses.

The Elite Class Trap: Food, Fats, and False Narratives🧠

Processed food industries and media narratives perpetuate our dis-ease. For example:

  • Many “health foods,” like cereals, are loaded with anti-nutrients, harmful oils (canola, rapeseed), and sugar that disrupt our hormones and energy levels.

  • They are also fortified, meaning extra (many times lab-created, hard-to-process nutrients like iron and copper) are added to them, which are detrimental to nature’s balance in our bodies

  • A lack of saturated fats (vital for hormone production) diminishes libido and vitality.

  • They push us to consume toxic PUFAs (Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids), such as Omega-6 fatty acids found in vegetable oils, nuts, and seeds.

For example, before the 1990s, McDonald's used to cook in beef tallow (fat), which is known for its stability at high temperatures and rich flavor. But then they switched to vegetable oils, opening Pandora's box of obesity and other problems in America. 🍔

  • They have defamed red meat and smaller animals including oysters which are great sources of zinc and nutrients that are hard to digest/absorb through a plant-based diet.

The industrialists and controllers of the Global Narrative thrive on dichotomy—liberal vs. conservative, plant-based vs. carnivore, Hindu vs. Muslim—keeping us polarized. Since the dawn of Social Media, they have created great arguments shrouded in lies for both sides. Whichever side you choose, you will be fed polarised information in your feed.

The real solution then, lies in nuance and balance. Avoid extremes of anything and focus on what truly nourishes you, physically and spiritually.

I too, like many people around the lockdown era, switched to a vegetarian diet for a year perhaps as an experiment or for religious reasons, it’s hard to say now. And then I woke up to the worst bloodwork results in my life. So yes, balance is key.

Some companies these days are promoting Vegetable Instant Noodles (Maggi), Canola-oil-prepared cookies containing stevia, or nutrient-dense snack cereal for before bed. 🚫

I mean?

In search of “cleaner” alternatives, people eat more complex, more processed food that is not digestible and is also counterproductive to their overall health.

When stevia was introduced as a sugar alternative for diabetics, no one mentioned that it causes insulin resistance!

It’s better to have your regular cookie made with unpolished cane sugar.

In the case of cereal before bed, you will mess with your cortisol and blood sugar levels. The fact that you need it is because you did not eat enough nutrition in the day. And melatonin added to such cereal will also mess with your thyroid gland.

All in all, eat Saturated Fats from red meat, full-fat dairy, butter, coconut oil, and so on in moderation → eat simple unprocessed food find a purpose → stay away from extremes of anything → get good rest → enjoy good libido & vital energy → have great sex → Love your Life!💖
