Just Love!
The difference between Falling in Love and Rising in Love
Hi Angels π«,
Itβs been a minute.
Iβve missed my daily letters so much! But I needed some time off to rejuvenate and heal myself π.
Last week I had a chance to visit the Holy town of Vrindavan, and boy, it was a much-needed respite from the mental gymnastics I was going through π§ββοΈ. I was weighed down by feelings of distrust and loss of faith.
I was simply weary and overwhelmed. My heart physically pained π.
Upon reaching, my first instinct was to eat the yummy temple food π and immerse myself in the Lordβs devotion π. Itβs relieving when you have the space to flow and de-stress in His Love. Without fear.
His Love dissipates the feelings of detachment. We begin seeing ourselves as a part of the whole π.
The issue in modern living is that we keep separating ourselves, dividing ourselves into categories for a separate identity π§©. But the further we are separate from the whole, the lesser we reverberate with the Universe π.
The more we feel out of touch with life πΏ.
I lived in an Ashram where I practiced Om chanting ποΈ in a meditative state with a small group of people. It was my first group chanting, coupled with Hridaya Mudra π - the Mudra for Heart Opening and Love π.
A miraculous circle of energy formed around us β¨. It was so overpowering that twice I exited my conscious state and entered a theta state π, where I could see Mahavatar Babajiβs (an ancient Spiritual Guru) radiant face emanating light onto all of us π.
My heart exploded π₯
The Hridaya Mudra, the temple setting, and Gurujiβs blessings - all raised me to a higher state of being.
Just Love π
Gurujiβs message to the world is simple: Just Love ποΈ.
To be in sync with the Universal powers, with God, we have to allow ourselves to experience and give out love in every passing moment π«
Love without attachment to outcome, without expectation of being loved back π. Love and remain in the state of love π
An ashram inmate, Mataji Moksha Dasi, taught me-
When we fall in love, we are dependent on someoneβs approval of our existence πͺ’. We are bound, never free.
But when we Rise in Love, we reverberate with Universal Love πΏπ
The Heart Chakra is represented by a green lotus flower πΈ. Its petals can be visualized blooming with the heartbeat and expanding as we allow our innermost selves to open up and be one with all that is π±
Love is Patient.
Love is Kind.
It is Giving and it is Humble.
It Honors others. It is Selfless.
It is always Calm. It believes all things are Possible β¨
It always Protects π‘οΈ. Always Trusts π€. Always Hopes π«.
Once you understand the greatness of Love, you will understand the Greatness within You π.
Guruji says - Love starts with Loving. And growing and ending in Love π
Love is the Key π.
The quiet routine at the Ashram - from the morning prayers π to Sattvic meals π₯ and evening Kirtans πΆ - taught me that it is possible to re-direct ourselves to Universal Love. Devotion for our creator π, intimacy with Self πΈ, and passion for living π₯.
And with this idea, I hope to continue Rising in Love π.
Disclaimer: Not all that Iβve written is mine. Much of it is my learning from the Ashram stay.
