🌧️ Of Monsoon Rains

and growing Intimacy.... đź’—

Dear Angels,

The rainy season is unforgiving this year.

While parts of my city are turning into rivers of sorrow, is it selfish to admit that ironically for the suburbians, this is one of the most romantic times of the year?

R, knowing well where the story is headed

I love going on long drives, especially in the night. Rain symbolizes renewal and pouring emotions to reminiscence the past, or make way for something new.

This season is a gifted time to build Intimacy.

With yourself.

R, I as narrate stuff word-for-word

And all your relationships you wish to water.

I focus so much on building intimacy because it’s the basic foundation for meaning in human life. Just like for exercising, you need the Mind + Muscle connection.

Human existence is worthwhile only in symbiosis with genuine relationships, and with nature, the Universe.

The intimate back-and-forth exchange of aspirations, ideas, and delulus.

Making promises for the future, and sharing our hopes and dreams - gives us a reason to look forward to another great day, month, and year.

With the rising sun on our windows each day, nature gifts us another chance to add purpose to our lives.

We can build intimacy with Nature by thanking the bright Sun, breathing in the scent of fragrant flowers on the way, and feeling the pleasant breeze against our skin. We can learn to have greater faith in Nature, and be more trusting of God’s plan.

You miss out a lot in life if you live in absolute isolation.

I’m not saying you should continue tolerating shitty people. If you don’t have a company that encourages you, lifts your spirits, and makes you feel at home, it’s best to be alone and enjoy your own company.

But when you do meet your tribe, ensure that you cherish each moment like a Spiritual Experience.

R, in utter disbelief

Being vulnerable, opening your heart, loving, and allowing yourself to be loved.

I think the nectar of life is in the sweet spot that blends intimacy with our surroundings and our relentless drive to give our best in life.

A balance like that would be ideal :)

Love,

Zitni Zun <3

P.S. (In shot) Stills from the mid-day rendezvous with my friend, R, as I narrate 10 days’ worth of drama in my life ^_^
