Sun-Kissed & Thriving
Why the Sun Deserves Your Love, Not Fear ☀️
Hi my loves! ✨
I’m so relieved that winter is almost over! 🌟
More Sun automatically means more joy for me. ☀️ Not only does it release some feel-good hormones and give us light, it's literally the life-giving force.
More sunlight means better blood circulation and better overall health. It makes me so sad to see the Sun villainized by society. 😞
Women love lathering sunscreens despite minimum sun exposure because of the narrative that the sun causes cancer or skin damage. While prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours is harmful, why are we acting like the Sun is the enemy when it’s the reason for life on Earth?! 🧡✨
People are okay with taking supplements for Vitamin D or getting a trace amount through food. However, this supplementation can calcify soft tissue and ultimately still not be useful to the body. 🧪
If you have inflammation troubles as the summer dawns, then it's not the Sun that you have to avoid, but Vitamin A toxicity.
People also become deficient in Vitamin D when their Vitamin A increases. The liver is the storage center of Vitamin A, so it is the liver that we have to heal and regulate if we want to reap the benefits of the Sun. 🌿
But first, let’s talk about the Sun because it just doesn’t get enough credit! ☀️✨
Why Sun is your BFF:
Elevates your mood 😍
Regulates your circadian rhythm (you will overcome insomnia and be more energetic during the day) 🛌
Increases melatonin production
Balances hormones 💛
Protects from chronic diseases 🪙
Getting some Sun makes our sex hormones happy😉, and therefore there is an increase in confidence and overall sex appeal
By going out in the Sun, you get a full spectrum of colors, while sitting indoors you are targeted by LED blue lights, which mess up your mood and sleep cycle.
It’s because the body gets fooled with excessive light during the night, making it think it’s still daytime. 💡
And still, people believe it's the Sun that’s bad?! 🤔
Let’s tackle Liver toxicity together and give you more reasons to love the Sun in the next post! 🌟
Love,
Zitni Zun 💖
