Women Grow Through Pleasure, Men Often Through Discipline
The Differnces in our Internal Wiring
My theory - Women grow through pleasure, and men often through discipline.
Hello my Divine Angels, 🌟
My bold statement is not to rile hard-working, passionate women or tell men that they don’t deserve pleasure.
It’s to shine a light on our unique strengths as two polar genders. Understanding the difference can help us harness our natural strengths and thrive in a way that's true to our essence.
The Science Behind Pleasure
Our bodies and brains are wired differently. Women have higher levels of oxytocin and estrogen, hormones that promote bonding, social connections, and a sense of well-being. Oxytocin (love hormone) is released during pleasurable activities like spending time with loved ones👩❤️👩, enjoying a hobby 🎨, or simply indulging in self-care🛀. Oxytocin manifests feelings of connection and contentment, making pleasure a powerful tool for personal growth.
Neurobiological Differences
Women's brains also have more connection between hemispheres, assisting in greater emotional processing and social interactions. This means we are naturally attuned to experiences that involve empathy, communication, and pleasure💖.
Most of us are more expressive about our emotions, which allows us to process and grow from pleasurable experiences. Through these emotions, we navigate life easily and gracefully.
These experiences bring joy and contribute to our emotional resilience and personal development.
For women, engaging in activities that bring us joy is not a luxury; it's essential. It could be anything, like gardening🌸, painting 🎨, cooking🍲, or spending time in nature🌿. They replenish our soul, and the feminine can only create (job, business, art) on fertile grounds, from pleasure, from movement. For her, growth doesn’t come from stoic energy like a man’s, or from pushing harder.
Women network and build systems that provide emotional and psychological support. As part of such groups, they feel a sense of belonging through which they grow and evolve with people from similar interests and values.
Our journey doesn't have to mirror a man's path. Men often grow through discipline and control, driven by separate hormonal and societal influences. Their dominant hormone Testosterone creates assertiveness and competitiveness, which can only be nurtured through disciplined activities.
So, ladies, harness your power by creating joy, connection, and pleasure, and tapping into your femininity.
The next time you feel pressured while working on a project, ask yourself - How can I make this more enjoyable, how can I make it more creative, more pleasurable?
Then watch yourself BLOOM🌺
Love,
