After the Navratri (a 9-day Hindu festival revering the Divine Feminine Shakti), I have been feeling unwell.
This time around, the Hindu calendar days were in such an order that for 12 days, it was socially unacceptable to eat meat and eggs.
Yes β I was on a vegetarian diet for 12 days!
The last time I was a vegetarian was in 2021; my overall health was down to 30%.
Never again.
Forced to eat vegetarian protein sources like lentils and cottage cheese, along with wheat, I was lethargic and bloated every day.
Even my periods arrived early due to weakness!
π§ When My Gut Is Inflamed
When my gut is inflamed, I experience:
Memory loss
Loss in thinking and analysing ability
Loss in intuition
Blank mind
Anxiety and sadness
Loss of awareness of my surroundings
The gut is our second brain; an inflamed gut can completely throw your mind off balance.
Personally, I start feeling stupid.

Drink orange juice, honey, fresh juices, raw carrot salads, and eat mushrooms β they detox beautifully and leave you feeling fresh.
π« Avoid starches, grains, and lentils for a while.
π₯ Include dairy to keep your body fuelled and calm.
π¦ Support your thyroid to uplift mood and metabolism.
π Soak in sunlight and red light β it helps your cells produce COβ instead of lactic acid.
π Supplement with Vitamin D β it maintains a strong gut barrier.
π§ββοΈ Magnesium is your best friend, along with blueberries, Vitamin B1, ginger, baking soda, and methylene blue.
